"I'm still marveling at the way you have transposed this story to the 21st century. Well done really is not enough. I really enjoy the Old Testament and your work takes me back to my early school days when we were told about those guys - Abraham, Moses, Joseph and his multi coloured cloak. much of yourself has been tranferred to this tale. One of the saddest things of today's generation is they no longer teach this beautiful ground work in schools." Roy

"You are so very right. Religion has become just a convenient fairytale for far to many people. When it is just a fairytale it is really pointless. It is important for people to realize that the stories of the Bible are more than fiction." John

“I read at least two books a week, but this one I savored. You have a talent for writing with an effortless flow that keeps the reader interested in what comes next, creating a 'can't put this book down' experience!" Richard

Hi Cath, very interesting and unusual concept which has turned out to be very readable. I am not a Christian, per say, but, from a moralistic viewpoint, I think we all need to live by standards set in the Bible. Your story helps re-ignite interest in 'The Greatest Story ever Told.' Gerry

"Follows a vein of Bible stories "As told to." Most families could use this for older children, and adults not schooled in the Bible could rely on this as an introduction. The denser language of the Bible can be off-putting in certain translations, so who's to say these stories couldn't open the door to more serious study" Marianne

"Your writing adds life to stories, which in my heathen opinion, had very little life to start with. They may have had a plot, and a high purpose, but I couldn’t read them. I believe it may have been considered a sin, at the time, to embrace any sense of realism in the telling of stories. Not the authors fault… What you’ve done here is very interesting, and very readable. I appreciate that you’ve seamlessly filled in the missing details. And you've picked interesting stories to retell. Very well written." Rodney
